Greg Tomkins – Managing Director
Greg brings nearly two decades of experience in the electrical industry, leading the company with a strong commitment to quality, innovation and professionalism. Establishing Tomkins Electrical Ltd in 2018, Greg set out to create a company known for its expertise in high-end retail, commercial and residential electrical installations, delivering bespoke solutions tailored to the unique demands of each project.

Before founding Tomkins Electrical Ltd, Greg spent 12 years as a self-employed electrician, working across London and Surrey. During this time, he honed his technical expertise and developed a reputation for reliability, attention to detail and an unwavering dedication to excellence. His hands-on experience across diverse sectors provided the foundation for the company’s core values - integrity, discipline and selfless commitment.

Under Greg’s leadership, Tomkins Electrical Ltd has grown into a trusted name in the industry, specialising in luxury brand installations, commercial shopfitting and office fit-outs across London. The company is recognised as an NICEIC Approved Contractor and holds CHAS/SSIP accreditation, demonstrating its commitment to safety, compliance and high-quality workmanship.​ In addition, Greg's qualifications include ECS Gold Card Certification, City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ, and City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Certification, equipping him with the expertise to oversee complex projects and ensure every installation meets the highest industry standards.​

Scott Young – Commercial Director
Scott’s leadership experience has been tested in some of the world’s most demanding environments. Serving in the British Army’s elite Parachute Regiment for 16 years, he led teams during high-pressure operations across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. He later became directing staff for the Parachute Regiment Selection Course, shaping the next generation of elite soldiers, and going on to train military leaders across the British Army.

Before transitioning into the private sector, Scott earned a BA (Hons) in Business & Management, graduating with honours before moving into London’s financial services industry. He built a successful career in management consulting and project management, specialising in investment banking M&A and technology change.​

As the commercial director for Tomkins Electrical Ltd, Scott applies his experience to business strategy, operational efficiency and commercial growth. His ability to navigate complex challenges, develop long-term strategies, and implement optimised business solutions ensures that Tomkins Electrical Ltd remains at the forefront of the industry, delivering excellence in every project.
